Well, the Halloween stock had gone from the shops (unless available cheap) - and there is more room to bring in the full Christmas stock. Already there is a sense of panic that they may sell out before we buy - no chance!!!!
One thing that is part of the ritual for many people is the Advent Calendar - mainly for kids to open the little doors from the first of December - and maybe learn a little of the Christmas story. Actually, they are now major marketing devices so to get you buying before Christmas itself. And since when have they been about the Christmas story? Most often they are about sweets - and we have a home made on with pockets for small sweets which was popular with the kids and we still put up. However, what about this
Apparently the most popular this year is the Ann Summers advent calendar, which you can buy on line for £5. It looks like a good thing to send to friends, and a talking point at the pre-Christmas parties.
That’s a big box there.
Of course, I am wondering what you get on Christmas Eve - I guess a big willie full of cream - but that is only a guess.
If anyone knows please divulge the info.

Hahahaha! Being an American, it took me a minute to figure out what a willy is! Chocolate bums sound like the funniest thing in the world!!! I've never had an advent calendar. I think if it had sweets, I'd end up cheating and opening up a few at a time. I would so open that last door on that one, probably first!

I think most of the sweets would need to be sucked!
