Update 3 in The REAL Baby Journey!

Sitting in Labor & Delivery. Contractions are every 1-3 minutes & progressing. I feel ok just a little uncomfortable. No real pain just aching & pressure.

We finalized our names & are really excited for either one :)

Baby will need the NICU for 3-6 weeks depending on how big it is & how healthy it is with its breathing. Hoping to avoid needing a breathing tube but we will play it by ear & always do what is best for the baby. I won’t be able to breastfeed because the baby will be too small & won’t be strong enough to suck. I will be pumping & they will feed the baby anything I make but it will be awhile before I actually put baby to breast. I CAN do skin-to-skin soon (maybe even the same day as delivery?) but obviously with lots of wires & cords.

Oh and my sister is on her way to her hospital (not same as me) with contractions 3 min apart. :) :) That makes me SO EXCITED!!

Feeling ok. Lots going on but staying positive & optimistic. Thanks for the support!!
