I did something to my back. I woke up this morning with the whole right side of my back aching really bad. I can’t move without hurting. Cannon wouldn’t walk to the car from daycare, so I had to carry him AND the car seat with Lorelei in it all the way to the car. He’s 30 lbs and she’s 15 lbs + whatever the carseat weighs. Ouch.

I took some ibuprofen. It took the edge off the pain, fortunately. I wanted to do more laundry today, but I don’t want to carry baskets up and down the stairs from the basement. I’d better not push it anymore than I have.

I feel like an old person.

Today also happens to be a no-nap day for Cannon. He’s very grumpy, however. He cried because when I turned on the tv, Peg + Cat was on. He cried because he was eating some of my snack. He cried because… he was sitting there playing with his trains. It’s kind of funny, but I feel bad for thinking that. Poor guy.

He was trying to count at daycare yesterday. He does that here too sometimes. He can’t say the words, but he changes his tone and pretends to count. Maybe he can actually count, but doesn’t know the words yet. I am not sure!

He just pointed to the tv and said “mouse.” OMG. HE’S NEVER SAID THAT BEFORE! :D
His favorite word, by far, is “baby.”

He gave Lorelei a toy yesterday when she was fussy, and she played with it. Oh my gosh, you guys, my kids are SO CUTE.

Sometimes I almost wish I could have another… almost. And then I snap myself back into reality! The thing is, I LOVE babies, but I just… can’t physically, emotionally, or mentally do it. Not to mention financially.

I am not quite sure what I am going to do about the spring semester either. I have to take classes in the evening. And Lorelei will only be five months old, and I haven’t found a bottle she will take yet. :(

I HAVE to go to school, so she will eventually have to take a bottle.

Anyway.

We were the only people who decorated our house for Halloween this year. I find that kind of odd. I guess we are just the weird people on our street.

I have lost two inches off of my waist, but only six pounds.
I am guessing my boobs weigh a million pounds.

I think I will spend the day getting ahead on my homework, since I can’t do much housework. Fun, fun!
