Well, the property is officially sold and I was very surprised when my mother deposited my share of the sale into my account.
I have to be honest, I’m not sure how I feel about the whole thing. Especially since her message that accompanied the deposit was something along the lines of “you’re on your own now, good luck”.
No one’s coming to save my any longer. My grandmother is gone so I have no support. And I am on the other side of the world.
I really made some choices, didn’t I?

Well that's pretty awesome! The message doesn't have to mean along the lines of 'goodbye and good-luck' just because money is involved, right?
