Ohh, oppps in December 2024

While chatting with H’s mom I mentioned P and I joking about how their teams going to end up doing some secret Santa or something and how P was like, well I don’t know anyone so I better get H then. What I forgot is H’s mom volunteered to be team mom and they help with communication and team bonding stuff. Last night P’s team group chat gets a message from H saying my mom was thinking we should do a secret Santa… and P comes out if her room like MOM what did you do?????
Hahaha mental note: watch what you say to H’s mom! I actually knew this, but guess I forgot.

Yesterday P’s HS posted an insta congratulating all the VB girls that made club teams, named the girl, club and team made. First, it struck me that not one girl goes to the club the current head coach coaches for. Usually they will flock to that club cause let’s be honest, it comes with advantages. Of the 3 teams, 20 girls made teams and 11 of them are at P’s club, which is where the former head coach coaches at. Second; the former head coach left a comment on that post adding the girl that was kicked off the HS team. The one who got into a fight. P said she never came back to school and heard she was expelled due to that and issues she had the previous year. BUT I found him adding her an interesting choice. A good chunk of the JVA & Varsity girls, including her are on 17-black which he coaches. She’s a strong player I believe she double shirted JVA & varsity but the sophomore that went to P’s old coach’s club mentioned she was not trying out at P’s club because that girl bullied her too much last yr. Head coach, coached them last yr at school and club, he didn’t notice?
P said she say’s mean stuff but in a joking way usually but you really can’t tell if she’s kidding or hates your guts. At their open gym P missed a pass or something and she was like, I don’t ever want to play with you, or be your teammate or something like that that and made her all self-conscious.
P did mention she doesn’t think this yrs JVA coach is returning next yr. I guess she removed herself from all chats. P wasn’t her biggest fan so she’s totally okay with that but let’s hope this head coach can find some assistant coach’s to work with the other teams next yr!
I asked the man this morning why is there always such drama & messiness in VB.

I have 2 maybe 4 more gifts to buy and I’m done with Christmas shopping! The man is going on a mission today for one of M’s. The store we ordered his big gift from came back days later, sorry out of stock. ARG. Then the mans son & GF might be coming, I haven’t confirmed. If they do I’ll get them something, if they don’t then that’s on the man, lol!
I even tried to get ahead of wrapping this weekend but of course I kept getting side tracked with cleaning shit and then when I finally grabbed scissors and tape, I hear the man and M coming in the front door. So guess we try again this weekend. .

last but not least news: It has finally cooled off!! It’s been ok, chilly in mornings and evenings but its been unseasonably warm. We were at almost 80 last week. Right now its 1:30 and still in the low 60’s. And yes I know for some that’s not even cold, but after spending most the summer at 115 and above, it is!
