6 Weeks in Hi

I am 6 weeks post op today. They said it would take 6 - 8 weeks to heal. I am better, but not healed yet.

I am going to start working on my stamina. Need to be able to walk a distance. Trip getting closer ….final decision needs to be made.

I have been going out to lunch lately, leaving the house more. I have driven 3 times.

I feel like my people are “over” me not being myself. Being unwell is getting old to me, getting old to others.

Had a friend tell me on Saturday to “put cancer out of your mind - think about other things”. It’s hard, especially when still early from surgery.

I am using this space to document the journey. Hopefully, I will be able to look back and all of this will be a memory.
