Tuesday in Hi

A friend of mine drove across Houston today to visit me. She picked us up lunch and folded my clean laundry. She is the first person ( other than my husband, of course) that I have felt comfortable enough to ask for help.

I have had lots of people say “let me know if you need anything”. I have a big problem asking those people for anything. If someone shows up, it’s much easier to ask.

I hope I get well. This has really taught me how I can be there for a friend.
