The 14th book of the year read was “The Girl Who Heard Dragons” by Anne McCaffrey. There’s quite a few books she’s written that I’ve not read. I may have to delve further.

The next book in the pile is a science fiction novel by Orson Scott Card. Good escapist material.

I need to Wikipedia some authors and see if they’ve written any new books. I know Stephen King has a new one out. And Bob Woodward. I have a whole list of authors I need to look up. Oh, Margaret Atwood has a new one also. I believe that one is a collection.

I went to the pool after lunch for my Sunday shave and shower. Perfect weather. After a couple of hours lying in the sun, a few minutes in the hot tub, a shave, a shower and clearing a week’s worth of junk mail out of the mailbox it was time to retire for my afternoon nap.

And now I’m ready for some leftover Hamburger Helper.

Ah, retirement!
