Young ladies and a joke in blackpropaganda

I had every intention of writing on here every day - but failed miserably because we are now back in the swing of things having been away for a lot of October.

On Mondays now I walk in the morning and then we are taking ballroom dancing classes in the afternoon for a couple of hours - after that it is sit-down time! Walking on Tuesdays - and then out in the evening yesterday.

Also I have been trying to paint a couple of pictures which can be made into Christmas cards - one has gone well, but I have struggled with another - and can only work when it is good light - so as it gets dark earlier, especially with poor weather, I cannot do too much.

Still, here I am, trying to keep up with Bookmarks - and finding the title Nojomo 1 etc not the best kind of title to get me interested.

And on today’s agenda? Once again doing some mock interviews for students who want to go on to University - putting them through the mill (not really) for half an hour - just in case they get called and what they might expect. Once again I have young ladies (17/18) who will do their A Levels this year. Nothing better, as you can imagine than to chat to eager and intelligent young women - not something I get a chance to do these days. I shall, of course, be on my best behaviour - nothing inappropriate will pass my lips (as the actress said to the bishop)

I hope to report back tomorrow - and by the way, I go straight feom the interviews to a wine tasting - now how surreal is that!!!
