In the Life Log - Day 231 in My Musings

Today was another great day. I slept in the lines of 9 hours since my body already started to feel the full effect of this past Friday’s leg workout. None of the bad 3 happened as well so I’m happy for that.

I went out earlier to do some errands. The mall was still surprisingly not packed, most likely because people are still in the provinces. I used the chance to get a haircut and also to hear mass. As always, the priest’s homily was engaging and revolved on 3 areas of obedience: 1. it requires listening; 2. is not merely for compliance (and rather borne of love); and 3. will be returned by God in blessings a thousand times over.

When I arrived home, I read a Mitch Albom book entitled “The Next Person You Meet in Heaven”. It was a really good read that I finished it in one sitting - it helped as well that it was only 210 pages.

Just like that, the long weekend has come to a close. Hoping that the following week turns out ok.
