I am getting around pretty good. A week makes a world of difference. I am able to shower normally, walk around the house, etc. I am not supposed to actually “do” anything.
I am already bored. Haven’t watched much tv or read much. I have a very short attention span right now.
My husband is definitely not keeping up with laundry or dishes or housework. I am very particular about things. Having to watch the house deteriorate is hard for me.
I love to cook and bake bread - nope- can’t “do” anything useful.

It’s only for awhile. Be patient. If one week has made a difference. Two will be even better . Hugs!

How long until you can 'do' anything? It's hard to wait to feel better, but keep walking!

No washer, dryer, dishwasher, pushing, pulling, etc for 6-8 weeks. The walking has to be in the house “walk as though carrying a cup of hot coffee”

Take it from someone who has had a bunch of surgeries, do what they say even if it’s hard. Otherwise you’ll be sorry down the line. You don’t have to have an attention span to watch TV. There’s nothing worth remembering anyway.
