If you have been reading for a minute, yall know I work at a vet clinic.
If not then, hi, Im Niki and Im a vet tech at an animal hospital.
Anywho, now thats out of the way.
Because we are a rural clinic that works with large animals and boards small ones, we have a lot of food and farm land around us.
What does that mean?
We get our fair share of…um…uninvited critters.
Mainly mice.
Rats, mice, mouses…you know. The little things that chew holes in bags of food, live and scratch in our walls and ceilings, streak across the floors when you least expect it.
The things that make us go, “ahhhhhhh” and “aw hell no” and “get it get it get it.”
We cant put out rat bait (I hate that stuff) or traps, so we do the most humane thing we know to do: we have a mouser.
Enter Miss CleoCatRa.

Dont let that sweet face fool ya, she is one hell of a mouser.
The other day, she really earned her kibble.

To be fair, she does give them a fair shot.
Shes just talking to him.
Showing him her furry murder mittens.

Alas, she is always faster.

If it puts your mind at ease, she didnt kill the mouse. It actually got away.
Got away to be chased another day.
