My favorite day of the year! If only my Halloween-themed clothing fit me. :( I also didn’t get a costume. I couldn’t justify spending the money on one when we wouldn’t be taking the kids trick or treating (too cold for them) and I wouldn’t be wearing it anywhere. Cannon did go trunk or treating with his grandparents and aunt yesterday. he wore his Thomas costume. I wish I could have seen it!

He has been staying with them since Wednesday evening. I really miss my boy. :( he is having a great time with them though. usually when they are here, he tries to go home with them. He loves going to their house!

I am debating on going there tonight or just waiting for them to come back Sunday. I don’t feel like taking a 1.5 hour trip in the car with a 3-month-old who hates being in her carseat and will probably scream for a good amount of time. but I really miss my kid.

Lorelei did not sleep well by herself last night. I had to put her down three times before she finally slept by herself in her rock and play. poor kid. she normally does very well. but when she woke up for a feed, I fell asleep before I put her back in her bed. I never get good sleep but I get even worse sleep when she lays on me. the kid is a wiggler in her sleep.

I weighed myself today. 131. I started at 137 in September. I am not super impressed with that BUT at least it is better than nothing. I still have 21 pounds to lose and that feels like a huge amount and I am so disheartened by that. however, I lost the weight after Cannon so there is no reason I won’t do it this time. I have already gotten a good start and I am starting to lose a bit faster because I am in better shape and can push myself harder, which burns more calories in the same amount of time.
