Peanut butter granola bars in Tales from the kitchen witch

This one was a winner for the fam.
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- 2/3 cup - 1 cup maple syrup or honey ( start with less and add a bit more if needed)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 2 1/2 cup whole rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons chopped nuts or seeds ( I use chi hemp and flax seed blend)
- 1/3 cup chopped almonds, pecans or walnuts ( or extra peanuts)
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup Peanut butter protein powder.

Instructions
- Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside. Measure twice the amount of parchment paper that it takes to fill your baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. Stir well. Add in wet ingredients and mix together well.
- Add mixture to baking dish and fold parchment paper over the top, press down firmly with hands and/or spatula to flatten the granola bars out and to make it more dense.
- Place dish in freezer to set for at least 1 hour then remove from freezer
- Pull up the parchment paper on the sides to remove from baking dish, slice into 8-10 bars and enjoy!
- Store in the freezer for best results. There are no preservatives in these.
