We're Absolutely Knackered Already! in BAH HUMBUG!

We were at work again yesterday from 6:30am to 5pm and then went home, fed our pets/spent time with them, had our dinner then came back to work for another 3 hours until finishing at 9pm because we’ve got big events on from the 6th to the 22nd September so we’re going to be working 14 days in a row again without a break but we’re happy to do it.

With my rheumatoid and osteo arthritis and permanently damaged bad back the way they are the pain was excruciating when I crashed to bed last night and it still is, I took a couple of paracetamol, I’m hobbling around on my 4-wheeled seated Rollator today as if I’m 110 instead of 59! HA!

I had to hand in my urine sample to the doctor’s surgery this morning but last night I was desperate for a can of Kopparberg cider although I resisted it as I knew it could interfere with the sample, but tonight I’ll have a can late night or early hours! It’s 4.5% so is moderate strength and just right for me!

It’s 3:18pm now and I’m yawning my head off all day! I had a pizza last night for dinner and have fish fingers tonight washed down with a mug of PG Tips then once our extra work shifts are over we’ll take a full day off and jump on the train to somewhere, find a nice cafe and do a bit of shopping and grab some well-earned treats for our little cat!
