Stay positive.
Positive Polly.
Positive punkin.
Everything is fine.
All is well.
Don’t. Freak. The. Fuck. Out.

I left the apartment this morning, coffee in hand, hair and makeup looking cute, ready to tackle the day.
I jump in the car, put the keys in, and turn.
The lights came on, the ac came on, but the ignition just made a grinding noise.
I’m pretty sure my starter went out. At least it wasn’t the battery this time.
I have no idea how I’m going to get the car to the mechanic. I really, really, really don’t want to pay for a tow.

That’s another person we need to pay off; the mechanic. We haven’t given him any money in months. I don’t even know how much we still owe him.
Hopefully he doesn’t refuse to fix my car because we owe him money. I promise we will get him paid off now that Dana is “fittin” again.
If he does agree to fix the car, I think I’m going to have him fix the windshield wipers while it’s there. I can’t keep going without wipers.

Not gonna freak out, though.
It’ll be ok.
Just have to call the mechanic and do some light begging if needed.

Thing number two:
So, with Dana “fittin” again, he gets paid every week. This is nice since I get paid every two weeks here.
When he first started back, he had to fill out all of his direct deposit information again since he has a new account here in Ks.
(BIG step for him, btw).
Anywho, filled it out, sent it off, all was good.

Until Thursday.
No deposit.
He wasn’t too worried because his paycheck was always posted late on paydays. Like 8-9 o’clock that night.
Friday morning, Friday afternoon, still nothing.
He called the head office.
They sent his deposit to his old checking account.
“Don’t worry, it will bounce back and you will have it by end of business day.”
Nope.
All weekend we were betting on it being there today. Of course t would be there today.
Nope.

So here is the problem with this:
- Dana has to pay for a motel room today. I don’t think he has the gas money to get back home and back if he has to.
- Our light bill is due tomorrow. Like, gonna be disconnected tomorrow. I’m kinda freaking about that.

Dana texted me at lunch; still no money.
I really don’t wanna sit in the dark until Thursday, when I get paid.

I’m calm.
I am.
Everything will work out.
Trust the process.
