In the Life Log - Day 172 in My Musings

Today was an ok day. I had to wake up early because of my pre-employment medical (despite me having worked in my new company for a month now lol). I don’t remember having any weird and/or disturbing dreams last night and my mood is a lot better so that’s something I’m thankful for.

The medical exam was surprisingly and pleasantly quick; I expected it to be in the lines of >=2 hours as these things usually go. I decided to walk to the office immediately after since it’s more or less 5 minutes away. Unfortunately, the weather had something different in store for me since I got caught in the heavy downpour, which made my pants and shoes soaking wet. I’m just glad that my pants kinda got dry in the office, while I had to bear with the mushy feeling in my feet.

Work was very light today, in the sense that I had nothing much to do today. I did have a quick call with a stakeholder from another region, but that was pretty much it. Most of my calls were rescheduled either for tomorrow or next week; not complaining at all.

I hit shoulders + triceps earlier. There was still quite the crowd when I arrived, but thankfully not as crazy compared to the last few days. Pump was good and strength was decent as well. As always, post-workout cardio in the treadmill flew by very quickly.

It’s finally Friday tomorrow - can’t believe I made it considering how busy it was these past few days; then again, I live for the small wins. Hopefully tomorrow is kind to me too.
