Hat In The Race in Current Events

HR finally got back to me. I’m still confused about their hiring process but at least I know they are still interested. They want me to provide more references. Done! I know who to ask. I’ll have that for her tomorrow. It sucks that I got confused. I thought I was hired already, anyone else would have but at least they got back to me

I’m not a headache person but I have a headache today. I couldn’t nap it off. I had a long solid nap this afternoon after work. I haven’t been getting any sleep with my roommate away. I have a friend coming over for a slumber party tomorrow night. That should do it. My body is running on adrenaline and cortisol which is like having battery acid poured into my body all day. I am calling it that I get the flu. I am hoping I do. I want my body to clean itself out. It always starts with a headache so maybe this is it. It wore me down enough for my anxiety and depression to act up yesterday.

I am really struggling to get into the swing of things. Into the swing of anything. There are 99 things that I want to do but I can’t will myself to do any of it. This would be the ADHD task paralysis. I’m so sleep-deprived. I’m thinking too big is what it is, honestly. I need to shrink it down to just the next step. Whatever that step is. I should get on with it then.
