Adventure with our traveling cat in Life of a cat mom

Today my husband,I and our cat Cinder went on an adventure. My husband and I decided to go fishing but I wanted to take Cinder to the river to play. While Talan went fishing i noticed Cinder panting so I cooled his paws in the water. After he cooled off I put Cinder in his carrier and took him up on the sandy shore. Cinder played under a tree where it was nice and cool. Where the sand was washed away the roots were exposed. I kept Cinder on his leash. Cinder sharpened his claws on the roots and climbed in the center of the tree to stay cool. He chased bugs and chewed on some branches. I sat on a rock watching the cat. Talan decided the fish were not biting so we put Cinder in his carrier and carried him to the picnic area. Cinder climbed in the tall weeds playing. We let him while we enjoyed the wind underneath the tall trees.

My mother called asking for groceries. We put Cinder in his carrier placed it in the buggy. We zipped the carrier closed so he wouldn’t hop out. Cinder was peeking around looking at people meowing. Some people got surprised and said they wished their cats travel in cars and carriers like Cinder does. He has been traveling with us since he was weaned from his mother. Turtle Cinders mom doesn’t like cars so she stays home but Cinder meows at door knocking begging to go on walks.

Cinder has been wearing a harness and walking on a retractable leash since he was a tiny kitten. Cinder loves riding in cars. He lays in the back seat and takes naps. The police officer was in shock when Cinder was meowing at him at the red light. I busted out laughing. The officer sat there with his jaw open when we drove away. My cat meows at people like a dog barks at random people. Cinder is hilarious. I love him dearly. He is quite a character.

I had a great long weekend. I got to go back to work tomorrow..night
