Follow-up in Current Events

I got a follow-up email from that non-profit. The HR thinks I would be a better fit for a different program. I am going to meet with that coordinator tomorrow. I can’t find the program on their website so it might also be new. I reached out to Alex, she used to work there. I am curious about what she has to say about that program. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I wasn’t hired for what I interviewed for but on the other hand, I have different fingers.

My ADHD is acting up. I’m giving myself some grace because I am trying to make a positive change. My inner equilibrium is doing its best. My brain is only trying to problem-solve. My eating habits are what I am trying to get a grip on. Starving is my anesthetic. Stress hurts my stomach but it all goes away when I am hungry. I have to force-feed myself, yes. Making the meals is the problem. My evening meal that is. Not enough structure. I can’t muster up the strength. I don’t have the energy after work. Today shouldn’t be a problem. I have a lot of energy thanks to my coffee enema.

My roommate is leaving for BC this weekend, just for one week. I look forward to that alone time.

Work today was great. I got to do exactly what I love doing. I didn’t even have any supervision so that was icing on the cake. I executed everything flawlessly. With support. I started my day off on a bad note. Always. Why am I so angry? I probably just need to get laid.

EDIT
I couldn’t find the program because she used the First Nations word for it. Alex translated it and I was able to find it. She is excited because it is the program she always wanted for me. I looked into it and it is exactly the program I wanted in the first place. It is as follows:

Develop a collective strategy with the child’s caregiver to address the needs of the child
Develop life skills through learning exercises and mentoring
Organize activities that the youth and family can participate in together
Collaborate with the child’s school representatives to improve school performance that include attendance, behavior, homework and participation in extra-curricular activities
Identify opportunities and assist the child to participate in community activities that are age appropriate and engaging
