10/20 in --

I can’t even remember what the heck I did since last week. On Saturday I stayed home with the kids again so Jacob could judge a debate tournament and then he went to a party later on that night. We went to dinner so I guess I got out for a little bit, sort of. He brought me home a bottle of wine – it was the wine he served me the first time he coooked me dinner. I can’t believe he found it, we haven’t seen it anywhere since then.

I waited until Lorelei went to sleep for the night (she sleeps six to seven hours the first part of the night), and I know it takes an hour per glass to metabolize in my system, so I drank two glasses… and I was drunk. It had been over a year since my last alcoholic drink, so I guess I should have expected it, but I definitely did not want to be drunk.

We went to bed and had to get up to drive to my mom’s house an hour away. We went to a pumpkin patch, and it was nice. Cannon got to go to two pumpkin patches this year!

Today I’ve been working on my application to get into the teacher program, and trying to get the house in order before Cannon’s therapist comes over tomorrow.

I go to the dentist this week. I know I probably have a cavity. ;( I’ve never had one before, so I don’t know what to expect!

My sister got Chiefs tickets for us, so on November 2nd Jacob and I are going to the game with her and her boyfriend. I’m excited, I’ve never been to a football game in person!
