Chase is 15 today. It shocks me all the time how fast the kids get older. It reminds me I do too lol.
Hes come a long way in terms of his maturity and brain. Hes seemed to harness a lot of his ADHD in so many ways to be able to manage himself. Not that he is anything in the realm of “normal” lol. Hes a special kid. But hes mostly on par with his peers. Hes been dating the same girl since almost Christmas. Wow. I mean for 15 thats good. Shes a damn vacuum and he comes home with hickies the size of my fist… Yeah we had words. But hes doing ok.
School is always a struggle. Hes just not “THERE” and who can blame him. School is an institution designed to shape a mind ONE way. Anything outside of that is not “the way” And hes special. He wont make it in their world. So we have to find his own world. And I think we can. It just will take some effort too.
Hes tall now. About 5 ft 10. Shorter then Co. haha. He and B will likely be right about the same at 6 ft. Just about the same as dad. They look alike to B and Ch. Thats always been funny. 1 3 and 5 look like me, 2 and 4 like T.
He wants to get a job but places dont really hire here at his age. They want them older. Makes sense. I get it. But also its hard on a kid who just wants to have money. And I dont have it to hand out.
He got a new GPU for his birthday. We were able to get a decent enough deal we could make it work. Birthdays are hard lol. A Ch and I are all 1-2 weeks after the other. And Ts mom is next week too.
I need to get a yearly photo. Ive been trying to get one on facebook so I have a record in my memories. My boys getting bigger.
The older they get the harder some things are. There was this stage where things were easier ( P.S. Its elementary school!) Once that is over. its all a battle lol. But there are some cool things too. Some things where they get stronger in or better at. And its great seeing personalities pop out. Even if with this one its all noise and sounds.
Its good :)
