Guilty As Charged in Current Events

I just made a $500 deposit to secure the 2021 Dodge Charger. I go in on Saturday to finalize everything. I am pretty excited about it. The search is over.

I remembered that I had a status card so I played it for the first time. They need to drop it off on a reservation and take a picture of me with it. That’s the catch but I don’t have to pay taxes on the vehicle. My city has the only urban reservation in my country so I don’t have to go far.

I can’t believe the audacity of the other dealership I was negotiating with. They have a 2017 model that they are selling for almost the same price. It has a worse CARFAX history report and they wouldn’t reduce the cost for me unless I paid for the safety myself which would have brought me up to the same amount. So yes, I’ll pay the extra 1000 for a newer model with a lot less wear and tear. I was hoping to max out at 25k but it is what it is. The market is terrible right now. 10 year old cars are going for 15k.

I can unpause my life now. Time to focus on securing that job at the non-profit. Alex is trying to get me to apply at the non-profit she now works at. I’ll have time to explore that on the weekend. I’m aiming to pick up casual shifts for DoorDash or something to pay off my car faster. I don’t have classes until January.
