In the Life Log - Days 112 to 113 in My Musings

Posting a couple days’ worth of entries once again since the site was down yesterday.

To summarize, yesterday and today were pretty chill. Sleep was quite good (clocked about 8 hours more or less), and my mom arrived home safely from her overseas trip. Most of my time yesterday was spent on doing a bit of laundry and watching Korean drama afterwards. In the evening, we watched mass on TV and the priest had the following points to share: 1. Each visit to the church is a God encounter moment; 2. We are God encounter makers; and 3. Let us not have a negative mindset.

Earlier today, I finally had the chance to speak in a bit more detail with my manager and lead, respectively. I’d like to think the conversations went as expected; the former being short (and not really productive), and the latter being a more intimate one. I shared to the latter my fears, given how I’m leaving a great team behind for the unknown. Ultimately, I was advised that every opportunity is a chance to both learn and extend greatness; while we do not know for sure how the new opportunity will turn out, everything will be ok if I stick to the strengths I’ve consistently displayed.

At around 7 p.m., I decided to go back to my place since my mom has already arrived. I was supposed to go to the gym but since it rained again, I had to stick once more with the home workouts. I hit chest + shoulders + triceps and got a pretty decent workout. I hope tomorrow can present an opportunity to hit the gym.
