I haven’t heard my favorite- it!

As in, “I believe it is a bit confused.”

Or, “It seems a little mentally unstable.”

Out of all the horrendous shit going on on this planet, this is the the thing that’s wrong?

The aliens are laughing. And revising their bets.

You just can’t make this shit up.

The water heater popped a leak two years ago. The spare I had and installed worked for a week or two and then refused to heat up. I didn’t replace it. I’ve always used the park showers anyway. But now the time of year has arrived where if I feel like it I can shower here because I just checked the temp of the tap. The water lines here in the park are buried only a foot deep. There is only one other trailer on my side of the street that is occupied this summer which means the temp of the water coming out of the cold water tap at 6am this morning was 84.7F. Perfect for a shower and should be a tad warmer in the evening. If I so choose to use it. (It was 114F outside yesterday and 109F today.)

I’ve decided to just leave the spice cabinet alone for now. I really don’t need another empty cabinet. I’ve another plan. If I ever need a fancy spice I’ll just buy one of those little envelopes of whatever it is and then dump the old out of the little jar and replace it. And date it! I love a plan.

I found more pictures of Dad and Mom’s wedding. They looked so young. Dad was 22 and Mom was 20. They were standing, Dad placing the ring on Mom’s finger. I don’t know how Dad was propped up. I can’t see any crutches or canes. I placed that picture with the picture of both their parents wedding pictures. I believe both my Grandmother’s were in their teens when they got married. I know my Mom’s Dad left for France and WWI soon after.

Anyway, on with retirement.
