Quiet weekend at least in Bittersweet

The shit show starts tomorrow when we switch everyone to the new EHR, But this weekend was quiet.
Saturday I went to costco and got dog food and some human food. Mostly dog food. Well we went FOR dog food, everything else was bonus. I got the stuff for cheesecake again.
We did some errands and T planted his other maple. It was somewhat cloudy out and cooler. Should have flipped today and yesterdays plans but I was totally out of dog food and my girl cant eat chicken or grain. And Costco is the most cost effective place for chicken free grain free food. A Kirkland brand food of all things lol.

Today L went to an old coworkers house and did some work for her. We got a few bags of soil amendment for our gardens. We are going to rip out most of the plants because they are just dying. The soil here is SO sad. Ive never seen such DEAD soil.

We went to the lake for a bit of swimming Our pool isnt “deep enough” The lake is cold haha. We had steak potatoes and corn for dinner. Thank goodness for fathers day sales on steak. It was good!
I made a cheesecake before realizing our oven broke last week. I only use the oven for baking in summer. We grill or instant pot what we can. So I cooked them in the toaster oven, a 60 minute cheesecake took 25 minutes! My god haha. Ill do it that way every time now, so fast! I whipped up a blueberry compote to go on top. Its a crustless so gluten free. (Recipes I follow in my kitchen witch book)

I should have been a hobbit lol.

Ive been spinning on my wheel, playing a brainless game and reading a book on my laptop at the same time. once it cools off I need to rip out some plants from the garden and get that soil stuff in it. BUT its 95 at 7 pm. 2 hours till sunset and will we get the soil done? Who knows. Its SO hot!

But tomorrow. The shit show starts!!
