So Far, So Good with the Calorie Counting in Healthy Bites

This time around, it seems keeping track of my calories isn’t so difficult. Instead of working harder to count the calories, I am working smarter to count them.
What does this mean?
For starters, I remember the measurements and what they look like concerning counting. I also won’t eat something really complicated and have been doing research on how much certain things hold certain calories…instead of doing exact measurements of all the components in a dish (like spaghetti carbonara).
Since tracking, last week, I ate over 2,000 calories which wasn’t too bad. I purposely ate over Saturday or Sunday because I was rewarding myself from keeping myself under 2,000 calories except for one day.
Yesterday, I met the 2,000 calorie count or went over it by a little. I had Starbucks shaken sweet tea and red wine yesterday. So, if I had either or, I would have been under the 2,000 calorie count.
Sometime next week, I may plan on starting to exercise. I am going to use a fitness tracker on my phablet for walking/running so I can have a count of measuring how many calories I burned when I walk/run/jog. Until the house is completely unpacked and put up, I will do that. I may also include strength body weight moves like pushups, yoga poses, etc. once I get the walking/running/jogging pattern down to a science.
But I am pretty happy, though. I am noticing a major difference. I am sleeping better at night. I am also drinking at least 80 oz. of water daily and taking vitamins as well.
Cheers,
S
