It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas in Surveys!

Do you send out Christmas cards? I definitely do. It’s one of my favorite things to do. In fact, if you want one, leave me a private note or find me on FB

How soon do you start shopping? Middle of November-ish. For the boys it’s a bit earlier, if I find something I love but mostly I’m done by middle of December.

Who do you shop for? The boys, my parents, my grandparents, lauren/zach and Liam. Really, mostly, the boys. but my parents get one thing and Lauren/Zach get one thing. Liam normally ends up with clothing.

Do you put up a Christmas tree? Yes, in fact we need to get that tomorrow so I can decorate it over the weekend.

If so, real or fake? Real, but I did find a Frasier Fir (fake) at Home Depot that I loved. If it had been cheaper we would have bought it.

Do you like tinsel? No no no no

Do you put up Christmas lights? We did on the balcony’s at our previous apartments but Liam says it’s too much here at the house. And too high.

Is there a wreath hanging on your door? No, there is a shovel. Crafted like, that says Season’s Greetings. Mostly because I loved the snowman on the shovel part.

What’s your favorite Christmas movie? Elf or Home Alone

What’s your favorite Christmas song? Silent Night or We Three Kings of Orient Are

Eggnog or cider? Apple cider

Ham or turkey? Turkey is for Turkey Day. Ham is for Christmas.

White lights or colored lights? White. Never colored. If you must use colored, only one color, never multi-colored.

Blinking lights or still? Still

Were you naughty or nice this year? Both, as usual

When do you open your gifts? Christmas Day, but pj’s on Christmas Eve

Do you like wrapping gifts? It’s not a problem for me, I’ve gotten better over the years.

Do you put change in those red buckets? I put cash money. Normally one or two big drops.

Do you bake cookies? Normally we go to my Grandmom’s (or aunts) house and bake on Cookie Day, not this year though since we’re having a surprise 75th for her.

Have you ever been kissed under the mistletoe? yes, I think very early on in my relationship with Liam

Do you drive around looking at Christmas lights? Not really, but I would.

Do you go caroling? Um, no. My voice is not for public consumption

Have you ever had a white Christmas? Many times. mostly snow has already been on the ground, but it counts.
