Songs... in Thoughts on thoughts

Usually I don’t get on here and write twice in one day but I had to just jot this down…
Isn’t it weird how certain songs can just bring up memories, any kind of memory whether good or bad..
Funny thing is it’s just a random song.. but the song Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down will always remind me of Germany. I dog and home sat for a woman who went to go skiing with her boyfriend for the week and paid me to stay there and watch her great dane and her home while she was away. she was one of my dad’s soldiers and needed someone to help out. I was in between jobs at the time and school was out so I had the time. This was back in 1999/2000 so it was before all the big social media and cell phones so all I had was a computer and chatrooms.. and I’m rambling again..
That song was on a play list that I had with me on a CD I brought to listen and pass the time during the day. The thought that brought up listening to that song randomly on Pandora was that a month or so later from that initial dog sitting job she went again with her boyfriend and there was a horrible train crash that she was on and they did not make it. I was so upset for her family and that poor dog who had no one that was coming home to him.
