In the Life Log - Day 38 in My Musings

Today was average. I overslept an extra 30 minutes and had to scramble for onsite work. I dreamt of us again - we were eating lunch in a neat restaurant and had ice cream for dessert. It would’ve been nice to get a few more minutes in said dream.

The traffic heading to the office was ridiculous. What typically takes me about 30 minutes took almost an hour. I could only sigh in frustration as the taxi fare went above what I allotted for; the experience made me contemplate once again why I had to go onsite for a job that can be done at home.

As usual, I was idle for a good half of the shift since there was no actual work. We did have our townhall, however, which made for a good change in pace. The townhall’s agenda was mostly with regard to the launch of our sportsfest. It was amazing that everyone was really hyped up.

Thankfully, the trip going home went by very quickly - something to the lines of 20 minutes. I only did cardio earlier and I didn’t feel bored. Two more working days to go and it’s finally the weekend. Can’t wait to sleep-in.
