Good news, the BBC is to make a series from a John Le Carre book ‘The Night Manager’ It is said the Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston are set to star in the production, I expect it could air in the second half of next year; something to look-forward to!

A quick trip to Truro …..

It’s odd how low the use of the Park & Ride on a Saturday, in the week I find myself parking as far from the terminus as is possible; any further out and my car would be on the other side of the fence and in the field!

So today I was happy to park in the areas nearest to the terminus, and those areas were only half used, and the cost of the bus into Truro is nearly half on Saturdays; I think the under use of the Park & Ride service today is a show of the pulling power of the out of town supermarkets.

The roads in and out of Truro are busy most of the day.

A seat on the bus, not any seat but a seat with out having Mum or Dad next, nor the younger brother! I noticed the family getting on the bus, it was near full and they sat on the single row of single seat, as she lowered on herself on the seat, there was a certain smile on her face that said ‘a whole seat for me’

On Lemon Quay there was a row of Mum’s and Dad’s with small children, one by one the children were going in to the cab of a military transporter, there was a inshore jet driven assault boat; the cab was nearly six feet from the ground, there were three solders there to help the children up; and to make sure the vehicle arrives back at base with passengers ……..

Of course I didn’t have a go at getting up there, it didn’t seem fare on the solders, their only human! But I needed to hang about until I could get an uncluttered photograph of the transporter.
