In the Life Log - Day 33 in My Musings

Today was another average day. I slept almost 9 hours - and just in time to realize that I was going to be late if I decided to give myself a couple more minutes.

Work was uneventful again; had my main meeting canceled, while those that remained had to do with the project that a colleague and I was working on. While the project was received warmly last week, I couldn’t help feeling a tinge of irritation as the asks were becoming a bit more ridiculous, to the point it sounded demanding. It reminded me of the quote “lend a helping hand, and they will ask for the entire arm.”

I had my follow-up appointment with my psychiatrist; he was happy with my progress, and stated that my demeanor had a night and day difference compared to two weeks ago. I was advised to keep taking the anti-depressant for another 30 days.

I trained legs earlier and ran out of gas, as always. I felt my session went really well, but lengthy at the same time (almost 1.5 hours for hams/quads/calves). Doing my usual cardio at the stationary bike also felt a bit long / boring. Just glad that’s out of the way so I can relax this weekend.

Overall rating for the day: 6/10
