I finally remember my first indie film of 2024! Showing Up, by Kelly Reichart.
I loooooove Kelly Reichart. Recently i caught up with a previous film, Certain Women. OMG I loooooooved that one toooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Oh yes, this one was filmed in Portland, so it was fun to try to see what i recognized.
Actually I loved Certain Women better than Showing Up, but I recommend them both.
If you like a naturalistic, slow cinema style movie. Her films are meditative.
