Found out the results of the biopsy----it showed non-invasive cancer----doesn’t even have a stage but it does require surgery. I was able to get an appointment with an oncologist for Wednesday afternoon! It is with a woman and she specializes in breast oncology. It is just a consult to go over more of the results, I was informed she might have me go for a breast mri as she is big on that. Funny how I cannot get an Mari on my knee but just might for my breast!

I appreciate all the up building comments that were left from my previous entry. I think it is still a little disbelief, altho when I talked to the nurse I did get a little emotional, but she was very reassuring. I will see if my sister or daughter will go with me. I will have jeff go when we get to more gritty details.

Attitude is everything!

I had a non-invasive diagnosis 14 years ago - had a lumpectomy. I took Tamoxifen to reduce my risk of recurrence from 2007-2012 and that's it. No other problems. Hopefully your situation will turn out as well or even better! I know it is scary!
