I’ve just turned up to Vish’s and James’ place and they are both in a mood already. James picked me up, and upon arriving at their complex carpark, James realized that some asshole has stolen his bicycle. Ripped clean from the wall.
So that’s put him in a pissed off mood, and Vish is being his usual moody self.
I’m feeling like I should just go home again.
See, I’d be pissed off also, but I’m more of the mind that things like this happen and there’s no use mulling over it. Not these two. They will hold it against whoever did this for like a week.
They’ve currently gone to look at other levels of the carpark to see if its been moved.
Anyway, they are back, now ringing the police.
James is now blaming Australia and how we suck compared to other countries and “if this would happen in Germany, people would have been shot.”
Geez.
I’ve been here pretty much most nights lately. I figure since they are leaving in a few weeks, I’ll spend a lot of time with them before they go.
I’m now listening to James and the police lady over the phone taking his report.
I suppose they at least try to do something about this. I’d just be like ‘Meh, people are arseholes’ and get over it.
I’ve brought over the British ‘Queer As Folk’ for us to watch, but I guess that’s been temporarily put on hold.
Last night was Riverfire. I, once again, heard it from inside work, including the planes flying overhead. Sucks I always have to miss it.
Literally about 20 minutes later, I heard rain and a few claps of thunder. Unreal awesome timing. I guess a few people would have gotten caught in it.
I’m still unsure what to do in regards to Mariah Carey tickets. Like whether I want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on securing a seat, or if I want to bring a rug and esky etc, as it’s a countryside event in a winery. I’m quite stunned Mariah has agreed to perform at this venue, but I haven’t seen it, other than photos I looked up tonight. It looks quite picturesque and beautiful. I figure if I was going to attend, I’d need to hire a car to get out there also, which would be fine.
I was annoyed I didn’t go see Mariah last year when she was here in an indoor venue, so this would be a unique experience. I may look a little bit like a loser alone on a picnic rug if I purchase general admission, in which case I’d rather purchase a seated ticket.
I always hate attending events alone, but I pretty much always have to, which sucks, but I can deal with it.
