....but when I ask Siri how many days until spring it says 140 days until spring???? My Siri is stupid!

At times I think it could be my southern drawl that makes Siri seem stupid.. maybe it doesn’t understand me???

I adore old movies. We watch a lot of old TV I love Perry Mason for some reason. I told Mark I feel the more you see a style of decor the more you tend to be drawn to it…thinking that is why I am loving MCM decor lately? Just like when French county was popular I hated it at first.... then after seeing it so much online and in magazines I began to like it. I never could like the white kitchen phase… nice to see the warm colors coming back into kitchens along with dark wood,

My home is a melting pot of decor eras hahahah but they blend well because I have a large home with large rooms.I still love the fact the most modern era was like 80 years ago during the atomic age in the mid 1940’s then the hippie era kinda blended perfectly into that style

If you have snowy weather be kind to the birds and squirrels.... feed them seeds or mill worms. Take care of your birds in the winter and they will stay all year.

The only birds I have seen since the winter started is the crows and they like to sit ontop of the roof and just caw. So there is no interaction with them. And the squirrls just run across the broken fence and they don't pay attention to me.
My kitchen looks like a throw back to the 1970's and has no future of being anything else. And nothing matches anything all the appliences are different brands and the colors are light brown and white and an ugly brown tiles on the floor and stained water light brown wood floors. This place has so much potential but she won't make things better or even fix the floors.

we have lots of birds! finches, cardinals, blue jays, doves, cranes, hawks, eagles, wood peckers, tits, chickadees and wrens... probably lots more! I love watching them from the sunroom or kitchen nook. Most land lords don't update unless they are charging high rent

I wish she would raise the rent then at least she would be in line witht the cost of living.

sometimes government funded apartments or homes are limited to an amount but usually that amount is far higher than they charge a tenant without aid... guessing that makes people want to rent section8 or that is what usa used to call it??? so if you have to pay 2000 a month of person not on disability might only have to pay 1500. the reason they do that is section 8 apartment are less likely to be well taken care of by renters.... so they have to offer higher rent to cover that.

well here we have something called B.C. housing and Affordable Housing and they are 30% income and now adays the rent can only go up by 2% so it stays in line with the poor.

theKat Jodie ⋅ January 08, 2024

usa they do the same only the government pays the rest of the rent so it the renter only pays 500 the government pays the rest so it might 1000 of the rent so land lord gets 1500 but a renter w/o aid might only have to pay 1000 total...so they get more renting to handicapped or welfare

Right now B.C. has a shoratge of housing for everyone...There are some people who can not affor to be in vancouver so they have to live in other cities.

theKat Jodie ⋅ January 09, 2024

Jodie theKat ⋅ January 09, 2024
