Autumn in At the foot of the hill

Although we don’t have many reds in our autumn colors, the yellows and golds are definitely worth the short trip up into the fabulous Colorado Rockies. Bob and I drove a “loop” from here to Echo Lake yesterday and back down through Evergreen. Breath-taking. Awesome. Glorious. Wow!

We stopped in Morrison at a favorite Mexican restaurant for a leisurely lunch and a Margurita on the way home and talked about all the wonderful scenes we drove by. We took a few pictures. If I ever get around to learning how to put pictures on my blogs, I might post some here.

We had such a good time, we’re thinking of making a different loop tomorrow before the weather changes and blows all the pretty leaves off the trees.
