Funny how you can take the same pictures.... in These titles mean nothing.

..... over and over again.

And it’s almost September 4th! How’d we do that? How are you doing on your decluttering? We were supposed to get rid of one thing on the first, two on the second, three on this third. That adds up to 6 already!

I burned the matches that had gotten rained on on the table on the deck. Fortunately I had matches in the house that hadn’t been rained on.

Otherwise I’m not sure what I got rid of. Nothing? Maybe so.

I hate to part with things. I just know that if I get rid of something I’ll want it back. Well I”m not absolutely sure of that but I’m pretty sure.

I’ve also been having second thoughts about left-handedness. I was using a battery powered screw driver at work. I had it in my left hand. I realized - light on the road to Damascus - that I could not see what I was doing because the thing I was screwing and the screw driver were both right handed. I thought about it for a while and then realized if I turned the thing I was screwing up side down then I could see what I was doing. Big help. But that’s the kind of thing right handed people don’t run across. They never have to exercise their minds figuring out how to left handed in a right handed world.

OH well.

My left handed brother and my left handed son ‘encouraged’ their kids to be right handed. Nothing drastic, just gentle encouragement to use the hand the whole world thinks is right.

Maybe they were right.
