I am sitting in the parking lot of my apartment complex. My son is finally asleep, in his carseat. This is a regular occurence. Naps are hard to come by some days.

What am I doing when I'm not chauffering my darling 11-month-old son around town? I am a 23-year-old woman, full-time student, part-time dreamer, and stay-at-home mom. Eventually I plan to lead my life in the direction of "school librarian."

I have been on a certain diary site for ten years this month. I needed a change and this place seems as good as any to start over for awhile.

Today's music is Sneaker Pimps on Spotify. It reminds me of being in high school. And it's great naptime music for almost-toddlers, if you ignore some of the lyrics.

My life is mostly trips to the grocery store, dirty dishes, and soiled diapers. Did I see myself ending up here at this age? Nope, but it works for me and we are all happy and that is fine with me. I met my best friend and we fell in love almost 2.5 years ago, with plenty of dramatic flair, I can assure you.

I have been sneaking bits of time to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's sort of strange to me that we play games like that and Harvest Moon as an escape from life. They are full of tedious work, but somehow that is more fun than life itself for awhile. I admit I enjoy games like that... my favorite part of Fable II were the jobs.

It's all very strange.
