Three items on the news this lunchtime -
a) a nine year old girl in the US killed the gun instructor when she lost control of the machine gun he was teaching her how to use. You what?
A nine year old given instruction in firing a machine gun as part of a family fun day out? I give up
b) a couple in England have been married for 80 years today!!! They are both over 100, sharp as anything, and clearly have a great sense of humour. In case you want to know - an 80th anniversary is Oak.
c) over 1400 cases of child abuse. mainly my Asian men, over a number of years - and the authorities did nothing to intervene, although there were a number of reports - and no one has admitted responsibility for getting it wrong.
