More like a Sagi than I thought in Stuff

The pandas are fucking annoying. Aren’t people paying memberships to prevent this shit?

I guess we’ll get there eventually with the aircon. The technicians finally came out today to have a look. One of them was juuuuuuicy. Yumyum. I couldn’t stop sneaking looks at him. Both straight, of course. But my imagination was running crazy. They were here for quite some time. We had to go up on the rooftop and of course barely any of the units were labelled, so we had no idea which one belonged to my unit. In the end, I had to ring the property manager and she had to contact someone else to get drawings and the people who installed the units 10 years ago are no longer in business and it was a bunch of runaround. The guys were kind to hang around for as long as they did, and were about to leave when I finally had a call back from the property manager, and we had to go around there again to grab a copy of the drawings. Then the hot one was in the unit with me, relaying info to the other guy on the rooftop to figure out which unit was ours. Jebus. I wanted to turn that situation into the plot from a porno, but of course I didn’t.
Anyway, we have a diagnosis - there is a gas leak. They will send a quote. I imagine it will be pricey for the landlord. The aircons no longer work at all in the unit, so I’m assuming they have isolated it due to the leak, which they couldn’t find. So yeah, fun times, but the ball is rolling. I’m sure we won’t even need the aircon by the time it gets fixed, as there will only be a month of Summer left. I’m glad I managed to get it to work on Monday though, as it was a scorcher of a 40+ degree day, and even though it’s not cooling, it definitely did something because the difference between inside and the balcony was significant. However, now I can’t even turn them on, so yeah, let’s hope there isn’t another scorcher-day anytime soon.
According to Australia Post, my portable air-con I ordered is meant to be arriving earlier than expected, so that willl be good if it does, since I’m back at work tomorrow and won’t be home to receive it. It initially said it wasn’t going to arrive until after Australia Day. I hope it’s half-decent and useless. Only one way to find out. It’ll use less electricity than the aircon too.

I’ve been rostered on Australia Day, so I’m expecting some form of abuse from customers, but oh well, I can only blame the media. The company I work for has decided not to sell Australia Day merchanise, and it’s caused a shitload of backlash, not helped by our fuckhead oppositon leader telling people to avoid shopping here lol. God help us if he ever becomes our Prime Minister. I think a potato would do a better job.
But anyway, hopefully people are nice and it goes smoothly.

Our dishwasher is also fucked. I found out yesterday that the landlord is replacing the entire thing. I did not expect that. I don’t know when that will happen. I don’t think we’ll have the same luck with the aircon lol, but I know my new housemate is complaining about it more than I am.

A fair bit more has been happening but I haven’t been wrotong enough to remember it all. Can’t have been that exciting then. I went to Vish’s last night for dinner and we watched ‘The Color Purple’ (the original one). It was different to what I expected. I’ll be heading to Steve’s tomorrow night for dinner, since the boys all have the public holiday off, except me. So that’ll be nice to hang out with some friends.
Gym’s been going good too. I ran into a past workmate at the shops and he was complimenting my arms, so that was nice, as I don’t really see them myself, so it’s nice when other people who haven’t seen me in a while do.

I’ve been following a few Saggitarius social media pages lately which have been fun laughing at, as I’ve been surprised agreeing with them, as usually in the past I haven’t. Nice to know my commitment issues come down to the freedom a Sagi needs lol. Also the either going silent or snapping when someone wrongs us.
