I cant say I’m a fan of fashion, I shall point out before some else goes it for me, that I am not the right size or shape for fashionable cloths, but I took this stance on fashion more then thirty years ago! I have long enjoyed the radio knowing the pictures are better with or without CGI!

Back then in my youth I listened to ‘Woman’s Hour’ I first come to enjoy the work of Terry Pratchett on Woman’s Hour, I think it was ‘Equal Rites’ I heard it read on the show as the programs ‘book of the week’ after that I went looking for any ‘discworld’ book, but me being me I started at the beginning and buying books one and two; ‘The Colour of Magic’ and ‘The Light Fantastic’

If you are prone to giggling I would recommend you don’t read any Discworld book on a train; some people will think you mad! while others who had read any of the books will start a conversation, about the books or about the man himself; either will they stop your enjoyment of the book in hand!

Discworld books are I think a compulsion after just one book, but probably not a fashion, it was also by chance I heard a short monolog about the colours of the autumn coming, a young women was telling me and I imagine some ladies, how these colours will be warn by every one next autumn ‘not bolody likely’ was my thought; or did I say it out load!

And what took me out on this out burst, the advent of the ‘smart-watch’ we can buy a very actuate wristwatch’s for very little money these day’s. My first watch I had for Christmas and it cost between £10 and £15, about twice what I was earning in my first job; still then some years in my future – and the watch wasn’t very actuate!

I saw the smart-watches in an add, they were priced in the hundreds, once your talking hundreds it hardly matters if it’s $ or £, the smart-watches is the wrist were on some beautiful male youth, on his wrist it looks a little larger than my travel clock, and do I want to walk about with a wristwatch the size of a clock on my wrist ‘not bolody likely’
