My front door.

I just finished the short story Saturn Rising by Arthur C. Clarke. That was a great read.

“There goes the gong. If the ladies are ready, I suggest we walk down to dinner through the Observation Lounge. Even after all these years, I still like to watch Saturn rising-and tonight it’s almost full.”

It’s written from the perspective of an engineer who had been to Saturn. While having dinner one night back in Earth he meets a wealthy entrepreneur who has a fascination with the ringed planet. Years later he meets the wealthy man again who asks where would be a good spot for a resort, further explaining that the time will be coming when humans want to adventure into space. Fifteen years go by and the now old, wheel chaired financer calls upon the engineer one last time. He gives him a job offer of running the resort. The last page is him entertaining guests as you, the reader, are interviewing him.

The way it was written really took me in.

Hocus Pocus just went off and now The Craft is coming on. Hot goth witches. Schwing!
