For my fifth wedding anniversary I wanted to have a romantic picnic put my cats Cinder and Ziggy in their carriage and go on a walk at a local park. I told my husband it was going to rain soon let’s do this rather quickly please.. my husband had other plans. He told me go to bed. He said he was washing clothes. They sat in the washer for hours till I put them in the dryer.

He was playing a videogame. He kept telling me he didn’t get my attitude. I walked up with our marriage licence and showed him it was our wedding date on the phone. He argued I was wrong he swore out wedding was on the 16th. I asked him why would they fill out our wedding certificate wrong. Today is our wedding anniversary. He reminded me he hasn’t worked in months and has no money. He also said I never wanted to celebrate my wedding anniversary before why does it matter now? I wanted to celebrate every year he makes an excuse to get out of it.

He loaded the cats in the car. Loaded the carriage swore we were going to the park. The downpour happened. I sat with tears in my eyes. He wanted Arby’s. He wanted to sit at my mom’s and watch the rain pour. He bragged about the grass we mowed yesterday. I drove home took off my cats body harness and let them go play. I told my husband goodnight I am going to bed.

I wanted to watch either for Richer or Poorer,Baby Boom or Smokey and the Bandit. I simply gave up. Why bother?

Talan promised maybe we can celebrate later… yeah whatever go play your videogame and let me sleep. I need to get used to being let down..

Turtle was raised around dogs so instead of meowing like other cats she barks to tell us there’s something wrong. I am currently hearing her bark at us because she wants petting. I wonder if her kitten Cinder will learn to meow like the other cats in the house or bark like his confused mother. My pets are as weird as me. Speaking of Cinder..where is he?
