jewelry art in Hi This is Kat!

This is what I do when I am bored. I have sold several pieces and wish I would have taken pics of them… but these are my favorites, the ones I kept.... and one I am just starting. It is the inner me. They all look horrible and weird at first but trust me.. in my head they create art

I actually had them exhibited at a small studio… are they masterpieces LOL NO! Far from it but I like them and it is a great way to exhibit old jewelry. I sold one for 500 and the other 4 for 300. so it is just a fun hobby as I could never really profit from it as it takes a lot of hours and days to do.

I just started to lay this one out… I will move it around a hundred times and once I like something… I begin to glue it down… I will get away from it for a bit and do another little area… in my head I sorta have it all laid out but at times I have to adjust it… The face will mainly be pearls of different colors to TRY to shadow it I have never made a detailed face before so it will be interesting as I want to use brooches and ear rings as often as I can. but the face I had to use more pearls because when I tried all brooches you lost the detail or the nose and mouth… so it is always a trial…

All of these pictures are fairly large. look at the gorgeous brooches in the christmas tree one.
Just thought I would share my weird hobby. I’m an artist in just a way way
