Rip Van Winkle in Hi This is Kat!

The past week, maybe longer, Jo has been sleeping almost all day and night! Maybe she is in the bottle way too much too… treating her pain and depression? BUT this really worries me! She might text me a 8 and say she is up but going back to sleep and then I don’t hear back from her until like 4 or 5 and around 6 or 7 she is back in bed!!!!

I am concerned! She skipped both of her therapy appts because she could not get out of bed! I don’t know if it is because of her anemnia, because of her cirrhosis, because of he out of control diabetes, because of her pain from her surgery 6.5 weeks ago, or maybe just a reason to hit the bottle because she hurts?????? maybe a combo of all!

I am quite sure her blood sugar is over 600 much of the day because she takes NO MEDS for it and drinks a lot and seldom eats real food maybe a meal a day of junk food? I know her fasting numbers are mid 300’s!

I am only guessing but I doubt very serious if she is doing ANY of her exercises for her shoulder. This was the week the increased therapy to twice a week and was supposed to build muscle and be hard.... she has done none of it :(

She does not really call much or text much.... I believe she is drinking whiskey for pain and being Rip Van Winkle… I am very afraid this behavior could kill her!

I need to go check on her but I do not know if she is at the camp, the shop, the condo, or house and now you have to add the casino as she has been staying there 4 nights a week… but oddly this week she has not been staying at the casino.

She did make it over to my house Friday to see Brooks for an hour or so
