I almost never do this: SPOILER ALERTS.

Young first love, young first heartbreak.

This movie is a TEAR JERKER. Just warning you.

He - graduating high school, becoming a professional rock guitarist with his own band. His family - basically absent.

She - a junior in high school, cellist who loves classical music especially Beethoven. Her family - loving and supportive. Her grandfather, played by Stacey Keach was probably one of the best parts of the movie.

Basic stress - can his career take off without her feeling abandoned... Can she apply to Julliard, maybe get accepted without HIM feeling abandoned.

Most important stress - during most of the movie, she's lying in a hospital bed due to a MAJOR car accident. Her "soul"/"spirit" is running around the hospital trying to make things right, while her "mind" is reliving the past - much of the movie is flashbacks.

Not a great movie, but worth it to see Stacey Keach do his thing.
