Launch in Current Events

I am trying to prioritize my journals and other projects today. I am actually winning with the journals, finally. I managed to figure out how to get the cover to fit within the parameters for direct publishing. It takes a million years (10-20 minutes) for it to produce a print preview of just the cover. I have been at this all morning. I can’t figure out an easy way to get the title centred for the front page. I keep having to adjust it on Canva, save it, and then upload it on KDP. It takes forever for it to generate a print preview. While I wait I’ve been getting distracted with other things around the apartment. This is making is take even longer, lol.

I have it listed as a series on Amazon KDP. Celestial Chronicles. There will be one for each sign of the zodiac. It’s just a blank journal. The first page will have a few facts about the sign. I got ChatGPT to write a description for me.

I’m not too far away from submitting it on KDP. It will take a few days to get approved and be fully launched. If that is a success I will make 11 more.

Next, I am going to spend a few hours on my website. ChatGPT will do a lot of the work for me. I think I am going to use GoDaddy to host my site. WIX wasn’t doing what I wanted it to even though everything was much prettier. I want to have the domain name rented by the end of the day. I want to at least have two blog entries posted as well. At least have it started.

I took the 5:30 a.m. start time at work which starts tomorrow. I will be off at 2 p.m. This gives me a lot of time to myself before my roommate comes home. I will try to record myself again to get comfortable in front of the camera. I’m thinking that I should try and just Facetime somebody out there.

I suspect that I am developing an intolerance to wheat. It’s appropriate to have a response to hybridized wheat as far as I’m concerned. I’m so over the bloating and indigestion. I pieced it together when I experienced it the worst. It’s after I eat a lot of wheat. I will take a break from it and see what happens. A coworker made a pregnancy joke to me about my belly. I’m so thin, it’s obvious when I am bloated. I look like a toddler with a full belly after a meal.

ok! The first journal has been submitted for approval. I didn’t want to pay for a printed preview… but I should have. I’ll see what happens. I can always delete it and resubmit it. It will take up to 72 hours before it is live.

My spending has been giving me anxiety. I feel out of control. I’ve been pent up all year and now that I can afford things, I’ve been abusing my credit card. I also get a big bonus this month… whatever! It’s payday this Friday and I will see what my checks will look like from now on. If there are no surprises in my fragile little world, I am sitting very pretty. The prettiest I’ve ever been. I can save like a mofo. I have one passive income that I am trying to work on; the journals. I am aiming for more.

Ok, It’s time to shower and then I take my grandmother grocery shopping and I got to meal prep and then I can start working on my website.
