Long Weekend Kick-off in Current Events

This week was a busy one at work. We have a long weekend so I am kicking it off with some whiskey and Jakub Józef Orliński.

It is a one-minute drive to my work so I keep getting there early. I decided just to take the 5:30 a.m. start time. I start that on Tuesday. I walked in on my supervisor talking about the position she hired me for. She’s beside herself. Everybody likes me there. I hope they take me permanently come February.

I am doing everything I’ve watched all the full-timers do at the other location. I’m enjoying it. The days go by so much faster. I like the challenge. I am second-guessing myself whenever it is something new so it is nice that I am paired up with somebody. I’ve been spending a lot more time with Jerry the merchandising project associate. I’m usually conscious about the next step so I’m always one step ahead of him which makes everything so cohesive, I can tell that he is impressed. I’m paying attention to what everyone is saying about my supervisor’s high standards and I am adapting very fast. I am outperforming most of them already. Next week the store starts its massive project and my supervisor said that she is going to use me on those walks. I’m very knowledgeable about the steel and the safety standards.

Something I noticed about my supervisor is that her strong Gemini energy comes through often which can be off-putting to most. Everything is so obvious and simple to a Gemini. Her answers are starting to come out a little condescending but I have self-esteem so it’s all good. I like big brain energy. Gemini, Virgo and Capricorn. I don’t need the intellectual exercise though, just say it like it is. I can make it make sense after. My supervisor takes you on an intellectual journey to come to her conclusion.

I am letting the AC cool down my room for a bit before I play with my new microphone. I quickly got ChatGPT to write an intro for me for my podcast. I don’t like it but I am impressed. ChatGPT is already overpowered. It’s going to save so much time. I just want to get the information out there because I’m a slave to the truth. I have to serve god and the truth, that is all there is once you hit the bottom of the rabbit hole. It’s even written in my birth chart.

Anyway, tomorrow I am going out for lunch with the girls. Then we are having a pool day. I might go to the beach after that with my roommate. I just want to go for the eye candy. Tonight I am going to finish Red, White & Royal Blue. I put it on as a filler while I ate dinner with my roommate. I ended up getting invested. I am doing a bad job of spending wisely. I only received half of a check and I already spent it. I’ve been pent up all year so I am just jumping on everything. I have a big bonus this month and it’s not like I am in a massive deficit. Next week I will see what a real check looks like. I think computer speakers from Amazon are the last thing I will splurge on. Until I’m in a situation where I can get a new computer/laptop/iPad.

Anyway, my whiskey is done. Time to get a move on, I suppose. I’m just going to do a trial run with my set up and make a video tutorial for my friend Michelle to teach her astrology. Just the gist.
