Well it’s been about a year since my last entry. All private now of course. So much has happened, but let’s focus on the good. When I left off I had just started hitting the gym.
This is my one year transformation. I’ve lost 65 plus pounds.
Let’s start off with what I looked like and end it with what I look like now.
Are you ready for this? That was me… In love with a sunflower and at first, I was hitting the gym so she’d notice me. I wanted to fit into a size small shirt and fill it out in all the right places. I wanted her to look at me and think that I was cute. That turned into hey, I have to do this for me, for my cats, for my health. If I can play Xbox for 12 hours straight, I can hit the gym for a few.
It wasn’t easy. I started in August of 2022. Around February of 2023 I got food poisoning at work and didn’t go to the gym for 4 months and gained 20 pounds. I went from 234 pounds to 166 and shot back up to 184 in those 4 months.
It’s taken me two to three months to drop those 20 pounds. I’m currently at 166, again.
These are my results and I’ve started doing more weights and less cardio. I still have a small gut, but compared to what it was; it’s so much smaller. I can wear size small t shirts and not feel too self conscious about my one small fat roll.
And now for my gains. They’re small, but I’m still working on them.
I’ve changed how I eat, and when I do eat some junk food, it’s on a cheat day. But then I’m back at the gym so is it really a cheat day?
My calves look like ball sacks. Every single day is core and leg day. I’ll go 5 days a week and sometimes I’ll go twice each day. Before work and after work.
